Cooking

Learning how to cook nutritious, savoury meals is now part of the Design and Technology Curriculum.

Hove Junior School is committed to encouraging healthy eating across the entire school.  We are fortunate to be able to offer every child the chance to learn how to cook healthy and delicious dishes in our dedicated kitchens.

Cookery Assistants Alison Garfield (Holland Road) and Lauretta Reynolds (Portland Road) offer Cookery Classes to small groups of children so they each get the chance to prepare, cook and sit down to eat a delicious savoury meal that they have created from scratch.
