Year 5 HR Beach Visit - Art Project morning

This event takes place 30/09/2019

As part of our ‘Brighton Rocks’ topic, we are planning to take the pupils to Hove beach to take part in a range of art skills based activities on the morning of Monday 30th September (back in time for lunch). These activities will allow the pupils to put into practice the art skills that we have learnt during lessons, in a real-life, inspirational setting. The pupils will be sketching the views from Hove seafront (with a focus on perspective), creating a palette of colours to paint the sea and using items on the beach to create abstract sculptures in the style of Andy Goldsworthy. Nearer the time we will be advising the pupils and parents/carers regarding clothing (dependant on the weather). Pupils will need a water bottle and a snack for a morning break.
