Explore Extreme Earth

This term, we are Exploring Extreme Earth! First, we will be developing our orienteering skills within our geography lessons, which every explorer needs. Then we will be learning about the structure of the earth, the formation of land masses and continents, how volcanoes and mountains forming, the impact of earthquakes and what really is the ‘Ring of Fire’.

As we begin our exploration of the earth, we will first delve into ‘The Land of Neverbelieve’ for the first two weeks before we read our core text ‘Holes’ where the extreme Texan desert is the least of the characters’ worries…
