Road Safety Magic Show!
Youth In Action popped along to our Holland Road site to meet Alan Innes from the Road Safety Magic Show.
Children at our Holland Road site have taken part in a special magic show this week to learn about road safety.
Pupils joined magician Alan Innes from the touring show on the stage to assist him with his tricks.
These included shooting colour on a page emblazoned with the four magic road safety words: Stop, Look, Listen and Think.
He also placed coloured balls symbolising each colour on a 'traffic light' into a tube the order dictated by the audience. To the delight of the children, the balls would magically change their order once inside the tube, as the youngsters were only too happy to point out and correct.
At the end of the show, all children were presented with a magician's assistant certificate.
The Road Safety Eduction Show has taught children the importance of taking care when they cross the road for the last ten years.
Nicole Reeves, Head of School at our Holland Road site said: "We're so pleased to be able to welcome Road Safety Magic Show to teach children in an engaging way".
