Journey Through the Ages

Our Autumn topic sees us step back in time to the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age, where we will delve into the life of prehistoric humans. We will take inspiration for our writing from a range of key texts including 'Stone Age Boy' by Satoshi Kitamura and 'The Great Cave' by Terry Deary. We will also find out about the achievements of early humans in our Stone Age to Iron Age day with Portals to the Past, and will become archaeologists during a drama-based ‘Mantle of the Expert’ day!
