WHIS & HJS Federated Board Consultation
Over many years Hove Junior School and West Hove Infant School have worked closely together to enhance the educational provision at both schools and to provide an environment where all children can be themselves and reach their full potential. The schools pride themselves in being creative, inclusive, and caring.
Together with the Governing Board of West Hove Infant School, we have formed the view that a school federation represents a strong and exciting opportunity to further develop and deliver extraordinary education for our children.
A federation is a group of two or more schools that have made a formal commitment to work together under a single governing body. This enables the schools in the federation to work together efficiently and sustainably to raise standards, improve services and increase opportunities for pupils and staff.
It is our duty to ensure that we listen to and take into account the view of all our stakeholders and are therefore holding a consultation which we invite interesting parties to take part. The results of this consultation will be considered by both governing boards before deciding whether to progress with the proposal.

Additionally, the following community consultation meetings have been scheduled:
- 5th May - 10am and 5pm
- 13th May - 10am, 5pm and 6pm
